It was not an accident for you to have been born at this time in history. God, as creator of all things hung the stars, the sun and the moon in the sky. He told the oceans where to begin and where to end. Every thing that was created was created with purpose, including you. God put you on the earth at this time for a reason. He has a purpose and a plan for your life.
God’s plan for your life is perfect. It is far bigger than any dream that you can possible dream for yourself. People, many times want to go their own way and do their own thing not realizing that God knows them, loves them and wants to lead them to an incredible life that He has planned for them. When we go our own way, we fall into many traps. We make many mistakes that bring misery to our lives, for example, marrying the wrong person. This is one reason the divorce rate is so high, even among Christians. It does not have to be that way. God desires to lead us in all the right paths. We don‘t have to live a life, making mistake after mistake.
God knows us even better than we know ourselves. He knows what it will take to make us happy. His plan will bring the greatest amount of happiness possible to our lives. His love for us is so great and He always has our very best interest at heart. We can have an awesome, exciting, fulfilling life if we will trust God with our future.
In order to understand our purpose and destiny we must first understand that God has a purpose and a plan in creating all of His creation. From the time of creation in the Garden of Eden until now, that plan has been playing out on the stage of life. God is always at work in the earth accomplishing His purpose. It is God’s will that His children hear His voice, know His will and join Him in His work.
Fulfilling our destiny is not automatic. Most people, even Christians will never discover their God given purpose, nor fulfill their God purposed destiny. They will never experience the joy and fulfillment of living in the center of God’s will for their life.
