Other Forms of Arts Ministry Workshop

This is a final exam for group classes only.

Discuss how you think you may like to be used by God to give His message.

• Each person picks one thing he/she wants to do.
• Tell the class what it is.
• Spend time developing it.
• In the next 3 weeks, you will be given an opportunity to perform during a church service. You can choose either the Thursday night youth service or the Sunday evening family service.
• You will be graded on this assignment. Excellent, Satisfactory or poor. Your grade will be reflected on your course certificate.

Here is a list of ideas. If you think of something different, tell your teacher your idea for approval. Use your imagination.

• Write a song. Either perform it or have someone else perform it.
• Play a musical instrument
• Choose, practice and sing a song.
• Choose, practice and perform a dance
• Develop a clown character for yourself, come up with your costume and makeup plans, and plan whatever type of performance you would like.
• Plan and perform a mime.
• Write and direct a drama. It can be a human video.
• Volunteer to act in a drama that someone else will be writing soon.
• Do face painting while you minister to the children.
• Do balloon sculpting while you minister to the children.
• Write and/or perform a puppet skit for a Sunday service.

Rules:

1. It must bring honor and glory to god.
2. It must be a presentation of any truthful Christian message.
3. It must lift up the hearers.
