1. This deliverance manual is to be used along with the course Pathways to Freedom, and only after the course has been completed. Pathways to Freedom prepares the students for group deliverance. This manual serves only as a guide; deliverance can be performed in many different ways. The most important thing is to be lead by the Holy Spirit.
2. To prepare for the group deliverance session, be in prayer concerning it
at least several days before. Also fast at lease one meal before the session
but as many as you feel lead by God to. Trust Jesus, the deliverer to do the
work. He will!
• Trust the Holy Spirit to reveal the needed information to those ministering
deliverance and also those being ministered to.
• Trust God to send His angels to give you whatever support you need during
the deliverance.
• Trust God to bring healing to all wounds of those being ministered to.
3. Depending on the size of your group, there should be a minimum of two ministering during the deliverance. More would be better. Never minister deliverance alone. It is best to have both male and female deliverance ministers present with guys ministering to guys and girls to girls during one on one ministry times.
4. One minister will lead the deliverance while the others pray. They all can administer one on one prayer and ministry as needed. Ministers may trade off jobs if anyone becomes tired during the process.
5. Prepare the room for deliverance by having a receptacle available in the event someone needs to vomit. Also have plenty of tissues.
6. All leaders should pray together and go over the manual before the group
deliverance, making sure everyone understands it. They also must administer
deliverance to themselves and each other as many times as needed until they
all feel they are ready to administer deliverance to others.
7. There will be times during the deliverance service when you will pray or
do spiritual warfare alone. Other times you will lead the prayers and warfare
in segments and your students will repeat after you.
8. It may be helpful to play spiritual warfare music in the background during the deliverance, but regular worship music will do.
9. If someone begins to manifest in a way that you feel you and the other leaders cannot handle, command the demons to be quiet and to be still. You can call on angelic assistance if needed. Assure the student that you will deal with these problems but that you need to do so in a more private situation and with more assistance. Talk to your leaders about having additional help, then set up a time with the student to work them through to freedom.
10. You will need two pieces of paper and a pen or pencil for each of your students. It can be one sheet torn in half. You will be instructed when to pass them out.
Opening:
1. Leaders read this page to the group:
• Group deliverance is simply a sequence of prayers to God and spiritual warfare aimed at Satan and his demons. There will be times when I pray and do warfare alone for you and there will be times when you will repeat after me. I will let you know when you need to repeat after me.
• As we go through these demon categories and prayers, be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. I will give you an opportunity to get personal prayer after each category of demons. If you feel prompted by God, get prayer. You may not understand why you should but God knows all things so just be obedient. Also if you feel demonic pressure or internal struggles that do not instantly lift during or after the prayer we pray together, you should get additional prayer.
• You may think that you do not have any demons, and perhaps you don’t, but you must be humble enough to say that it is possible that I do and if I do, I want them gone and I know that Jesus is able to deliver me.
• Your body is your house. Demons cannot stay if you don’t want them to.
• God has given you a free will to choose. You must want all demons gone.
• You must be willing to forgive everyone in your life that you feel has hurt you. We will go through a prayer of forgiveness together soon. Make a wholehearted decision to forgive, trust God to do the rest.
• You must be completely honest with yourself and God for proper deliverance to occur.
• God loves you very much and wants you completely free. Jesus is your deliverer and He is here tonight to deliver you! With God you cannot loose.
• Anything and everything that comes forth in this room tonight is confidential information. We ask you not to discuss anyone’s information here other than your own. To share others information would be gossip and wrong and it may hurt your bother or sister in Christ.
• During deliverance, you may feel something, and you may not. Often one hiccups, coughs, yawns or signs when a demon is expelled. The proof that he is gone will be a change in the problem you have been experiencing, for example; after deliverance you are no long having nightmares, feeling as fearful or struggling with certain thoughts or driving pressures.
• Demons may manifest or make themselves known and they may not. Sometimes people are delivered with no manifestation at all.
• Be sensitive to any demonic activity within or around you tonight. If you feel a demon manifesting in you, it is okay. Don’t resist because if they reveal themselves, it will be easier for us to cast them out or bind their activity in your life. Whenever I give you the opportunity for additional prayer, if you are feeling any demonic activity at all please let us know so we can deal with those particular spirits before moving on.
• I want to remind you that having demonic issues is nothing to be ashamed of, we all do. At least you are dealing with yours tonight.
• For groups with teens: I want to remind you that deliverance ministry is very serious and absolutely no cutting up with be tolerated. If in anyway, you disturb the others in this room from receiving ministry, you will be removed from the room immediately and not allowed to come back in. Don’t allow Satan to use you as a distraction and a hindrance.
• Please remain in a worshipful attitude during the entire deliverance time.
• We will take a break about half way through. If anyone leaves the room before then, deliverance will have to stop until they return so please no one leave the room until break time unless it is an emergency.
2. Open with a time of worship.
You may want to end with some spiritual warfare music. You may play spiritual warfare music or worship music low during the whole deliverance time. Songs about the blood of Jesus are also good. After about 20 minutes of worship, pray the following prayer out loud, by yourself.
3. Opening prayer and spiritual warfare
Lord, your word says that whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered. We call upon you tonight for deliverance; we want to be pleasing in your sight. Show us what we need to be delivered of. Stir up those spirits, so that they can be cast out tonight. We thank you in advance for freedom. We confess to you that we are totally dependant upon you. Lord, I ask you to send your angels now to assist us as needed. Holy Spirit, we ask that you assist us with power, wisdom and knowledge, let the gifts of the Spirit flow freely tonight in this place. I plead the blood of Jesus now over everyone on these premises. I plead the blood of Jesus over these premises. Holy Spirit, we ask that you come and assist us and minister to us tonight. Thank you for the victory! In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
In the name of Jesus I bind the strongman working in anyone present in this room tonight. I bind any spirit that would try to hinder deliverance tonight. I forbid any communication between evil spirits in the name of Jesus. I forbid all demons to call on assistance from other demons. I command all demon spirits in this room tonight to hear and to obey our commands in the name of the Lord Jesus. We ask for the judgment of God to be against all tormenting spirits in this room tonight.
4. Prayer of Repentance:
Father, I come to you tonight / I confess to you that I have sinned / I ask you to forgive me of every thought, / word / or deed / that is not pleasing to you. / I ask you to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. / Make me clean in your eyes. / Lord, I confess to you that I hate evil / I want no fellowship with evil. / I want to be completely free / of all demonic forces. / So I turn to you Jesus / as my deliverer / and ask that you completely set me free. / Thank you for complete freedom. / In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
5. Prayer of Forgiveness:
Give everyone a piece of paper.
Give everyone a moment to write.
Father, just as you have forgiven all my sins / I now, as an act of my free will / forgive all the people on my list / of the sins they have committed against me. / I ask you also to forgive them / for the sins / that they have committed against me. / I ask you to bless each one of them. / Thank you Lord. / In Jesus name, Amen.
Satan, / I break all ties with you. / I renounce your work in my life. / I declare you have no hold on me anymore. / You have no legal rights to remain / and continue to torment me. / I want nothing more to do with you ever. / I renounce any and all holds / that any demons have on me now, / in the name of Jesus.
6. Breaking of Curses:
Generation Curses:
Lord, I confess to you today / that I forgive my ancestors / of sins that they committed against you / that have caused me trouble or pain. / I ask you today to forgive them / of all sins. / I ask you to bless my living relatives.
Satan, / I renounce your hold on my life. / I break all generation curses upon my family. / You have no right / to hold us in captivity / I command all demons / that have gained control in my life / due to the sins of my ancestors / to leave me now in Jesus name. / I bind the activity of all familiar spirits / and I command that you leave me now in the name of Jesus. /I declare that from this day forward / that all generation curses / upon my family are broken.
Word Curses:
Father, please forgive me of any words / that I have spoken / that have hurt others / Please help them / to be set free / from the destruction of these words. / Lord, I forgive others / for the hurtful things / they have spoken to me / or about me. / I ask you to also forgive them / and to bless their life.
Satan, / I renounce your hold on my life, / I cast every negative word spoken / to me / or about me / to the ground / as ineffective / and I command all evil spirits / that have tormented / or invaded me / as a result of word curses / to leave me now / in the name of Jesus. / Father, please cleanse me / and heal me / of all soul wounds and pain / caused by these words. / Restore me to complete physical / and emotional health / in the name of Jesus, Amen.
7. Demons of unforgiveness:
I confess to you Lord / that I hold no unforgiveness against anyone. / I declare that no demons of unforgiveness / have any right to me. / Satan, I renounce you and resist you, / I declare the judgment of God / against you tonight / I command the demons of unforgiveness / to go now in the name of Jesus / Resentment, / Hatred, / Self-hatred / Violence,/ Anger, / Murder, / Retaliation. / Bitterness, / Spite, / and Cruelty / I loose myself from you now in Jesus name, / I bind your activity in my life now. / I command you go. / I command any other related demons / to come out now / in the name / and by the authority of Jesus Christ.
Leader: Pause for a moment.

• Ask:
If so, you may turn the music up a bit so others can worship while you pray for the ones needing prayer or you may ask the other students to bind their faith with yours as you pray for the ones needing prayer. When you are finished ministering one on one, turn the music back down and move on.
8. Demons of Rejection.
Father, I forgive everyone that has every rejected me / from the time I was in my mother’s womb until now. / I ask that you forgive them as well. / I ask you to forgive me / for making others feel rejected by me. / I ask you to heal their wounds.
I renounce ever demon of rejection and all related spirits / Fear of rejection, I command you to leave now / self-rejection, self-hatred and self-condemnation I command you to leave me now in the name of Jesus. / I now reject you! / Any spirit that causes me to want to hurt myself / I command you to get out now! In the name of Jesus. / Lord, I ask you to cleanse me, / purify my heart / heal all soul wounds caused by rejection. / Thank you Lord

9. Demons of the occult
Father, forgive me of any dealings / that I or my family / have ever had with the occult, / intentional or not. / I now renounce / every demon that may have entered me / as a result of playing with a Ouija board / or any other cultic game, / card game / or video game. / I renounce any demons that have entered me / as a result of witchcraft, / wizardry / astrology / ESP / palmistry / hypnotism, / levitation, / fortune telling, / tarot cards, / pendulums, / black magic, / white magic,/ conjurations, / incantations / charms / or any other cultic thing. / I command you all / and any other related spirits / to leave me now in the name of Jesus. / I want no part of you ever again!

10. Demons of Pride
Lord, please forgive me / for all sins of pride. / I renounce every demon of pride / in the name of Jesus. / I renounce every demon of ego, / vanity, / self-righteousness, / haughtiness, / importance, / arrogance / or any other demons of pride. / I resist you; / I tell you I do not want you to be a part of my life / or my personality anymore. / I command you to leave me now in the name of Jesus.
Leader: Pause for a moment.
11. Demons of Strife
Father, / I ask you to forgive me for being in strife with others. / Forgive me for all acts of aggression / and mean spiritedness against others. / I resist all spirits that would make me want to fight with anyone / verbally or physically / in the name of Jesus. / Demons of strife, / contention, / bickering, / argument, / fighting, / dominance, / control, / or possessiveness / I bind your activity in my life now. / I command you to go in the name of Jesus.
Leader: Pause for a moment.
12. Demons of Cursing
Father, please forgive me for any acts of cursing, / course jesting, / gossip, / criticism, / backbiting, / mockery, / belittling, / negativity, / or railing / that I have committed against others. / I also forgive those that have done these to me. / I bind the activity of all demons of cursing / and related spirits now in the name of Jesus / I command you to loose your hold on me now. / I want no part of you ever again. / Demon of cursing or related spirits / I command you to leave me now in Jesus name.
Leader: Pause for a moment.
13. Demons of jealousy and covetousness
Father, please forgive me for all acts of jealous. / Please cleanse my heart. / I bind the activity of all demons of envy, / jealousy, / covetousness, / material lust, / greed / discontentment / and stealing in the name of Jesus. / I command every one of these demons / and any other related spirits / to leave me now in the name of Jesus. / I resist you / I want no more part of you, ever.

14. Addiction and compulsive demons
In the name of Jesus, I bind the activity of every addictive, / compulsive demon. / I resist you / and I call your assignment against me / null and void. / I come against every demon of hyperactivity, / every driving demon, / every demon of drug addiction, / alcohol addiction, and food addiction / now in the name of Jesus. / I break your hold on my life / and cast you out now in Jesus name.
Leader: Pause for a moment.
15. Sexual impurity
Father, please forgive me for all sexual sins. / In the name of Jesus, I command every demon of pornography, / lust / fantasy / masturbation / homosexuality / adultery / fornication / incest / harlotry / rape / exposure / frigidity / perversion / or any other related spirit / to leave me now in the name of Jesus.
Leader: Pause for a moment.
16. Mind altering Demons
Father, / with an act of my will, I commit my mind to you / for soundness and wholeness. / I recognize that you are the one / who gives me a sound mind. I now come against all mind altering / and mind binding demons in the name of Jesus. / I command doubt, / unbelief / mental illness, / paranoia, / hallucinations / all demons of deception / or any other related spirit / to leave me now, in the name of Jesus.
Leader: Pause for a moment.
17. Infirmity
In the name of Jesus / I come against all demons of infirmity. / I loose your hold on me now / and I command every demon of deafness / blindness / arthritis / hypertension, / cancer / or any other demon of sicknesses or diseases / to go now in the name of Jesus. / I declare that no weapon / that you have formed against me / will prosper / in the name of Jesus. / Father, heal my body from all completely from all disease / in Jesus name and by His stripes / I am healed. / Thank you Lord.

18. Demons of depression
I take authority over every spirit of depression / despair / despondency / discouragement / hopelessness / suicide / death / insomnia / morbidity and gloom / along with all other spirits related to depression. / I cast you out, by the power / by the blood / and by the name of Jesus. / Go now!
Leader: Pause for a moment.
19. Demons of Fear and Insecurity
I now come against all demons of fear and insecurity / and bind their activity in my life / in the name of Jesus. / I command fear, / confusion, / doubt, / indecision, / insecurity, / phobias, / loneliness, / self-pity, / inadequacy, / worry, / anxiety, / dread, / nervousness, / night mares / and night terrors to leave me now / in the name of Jesus. / I bind your activity in my life, / I want no part of you ever again.

20. Demons of Guilt
Demons of guilt, / I bind your activity in my life. / I command every spirit of self-condemnation, / shame, / guilt, / unworthiness, / embarrassment, / unloved, / unneeded / and unwanted to come out now in the name of Jesus. / You are a liar, / my sins have all been forgiven. / And I am greatly loved and esteemed by my Father. / You have no hold on me, / leave me now!

21. Breaking of any soul ties:

Everyone pray, leader first and everyone else repeat:
Lord I ask you to forgive me of wrong relationships / that I have had. / In
the name of Jesus / I break all soul ties with _____________. / I ask you to
cleanse me / and heal me / from all soul wounds / related to that relationship.
/ I now command every evil spirit / that has had an opportunity to invade me
/ as a result of this relationship to go now, / in the name of Jesus. / Father,
I ask you to heal my fragmented soul.

22. Prayer of emotional and physical healing:
(Lord, we thank you for deliverance. We thank you for the awesome work that you have done in this place tonight. We give you all the praise and glory. Holy Spirit, we invite you now to wash over each person with your presence. I ask you to touch each person here; body, soul, and spirit. Heal them Lord. Touch the deep places in their hearts that have been hurt by the evil one. Restore their hearts, their minds, their bodies, their lives, and their relationships. Please give back 100 fold every thing the enemy has stolen from them. Give them complete restoration and healing. Fill them up with your sweet presence. And we thank you for it. You are an awesome God. In Jesus name I pray, Amen)
23. Ending soaking:
Bless them and ask God to fill them up with His Holy Spirit. Ask God to help them walk in purity.
