A Message From the Overseers
Greetings,
God had spoken to us off and on about this ministry for about 12 years now, but has only given us a clear vision, specific directions, and a release to get started fall of 2003. We believe house churches are the cutting edge of what God is doing in the earth today, even though they are nothing new. The church began in the house in the book of Acts. We believe God is taking us back to our roots and now is the time to take what God has so graciously given us in the church into the streets and the homes. God is looking for those that His love can flow through to reach the lost and hurting.
We believe that God is doing something very special in the body of Christ and in the world today. He has already began to send revival to His church, but we have only just begun to see all that He wants to do through His people. The Lord told us several years ago that the next revival would be in the streets, homes, and in the marketplace. He also revealed to us, in no uncertain terms, that children and teens will be a vital part of this revival.
We believe that through this evangelistic, church planting ministry God is laying a net to catch a great harvest of souls. We believe making devoted, on fire, mature disciples of all ages is vitally important in this work as well as mobilizing, training, sending and supporting leaders and workers. We don't claim to have all the answers but rather walk day by day by faith seeking God's face and directions. Without Him we can do nothing, but with Him all things are possible. We feel privileged and honored to be a part of what God is doing in the earth today.
We believe that the Lord has a purpose and a plan for every living soul and we are dedicated to helping people discover and fulfill that plan. Regardless of your age, denominational background or race, we welcome you to come and join us as we worship, study God's word and seek to fulfill the great commission to reach the lost with the love of Jesus Christ. Biographies
Name: David Brooks
Age: 45
David accepted Christ at a young age. He attended the Assemblies of God while growing up. He has sensed the hand of God on his life and a call to His service for as long as he can remember. David has been a lay minister for more than fifteen years working with mostly teenagers and children. He also has worked with adults through church cell ministry. He is an anointed revivalist evangelist and has a gift for drama. David has a heart for winning souls and for the youth of this generation.

Evelyn accepted Christ at the age of five. Her father is a retired Southern Baptist pastor. She received a call to ministry from God at nineteen, but didn't embrace that call until nearly ten years later. She has been a home school mom for eleven years. She began leading youth church as a lay minister more than fifteen years ago and has also lead children's programs and church cell ministry. She established and operated an Internet discipleship and mentoring ministry for several years, working mainly with young women. Evelyn has a heart for soul winning and for youth of all ages. She is a passionate worshiper and also has a passion to help people grow spiritually.
David and Evelyn was married April 1983. They spent the first ten years of their marriage in the Baptist church, then the next eleven years mostly in the Assemblies of God. They were blessed to be a part of the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola Florida for eight years. Several of those years they traveled back and fourth between their home in Clover, SC and Pensacola, Florida. They relocated to Pensacola January 1999 to take a more active role in the revival. They did various work at Brownsville and completed leadership training.
They have 2 children; Christopher, twenty and Amanda, forteen. Both of their kids work with them in ministry. Christopher is Chosen Explosions worship leader and also a house church youth pastor and Amanda is a children's minister.
David and Evelyn has a profound love for the body of Christ, and desires to see unity, revival, reformation and restoration come to it. Their hearts ache for the harvest, and to see youth set on fire for Jesus. They feel that Chosen Explosion House Church Network is the very purpose of all the training and equipping God has provided them with throughout the years and is their destiny and purpose for life.

Christopher graduated from home school in 2002. He attended Brownsville Revival School of Ministry. Chris was blessed to be able to spend his teen years running hard after God in the revival atmosphere. God has gifted him to play both the piano and the guitar. He is an anointed and gifted worship leader and song writer. He also is a gifted speaker and has a heart for mentoring and disciplining youth, especially musicians.

Amanda is a ninth grade home schooler. She is a passionate worshipper that loves Jesus with all her heart and has a great love for people. Amanda has a special gifting and a call on her life to minister to children.
